Job Description
Experienced IT Support Engineer sought for hybrid environment in Dublin, providing Level 2 support, troubleshooting, and network security tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 support for Windows-based environments, including Active Directory and Office 365.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, escalating when necessary.
- Support the configuration and deployment of Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
- Assist with network security, managing firewalls and VPNs.
- Participate in system upgrades and infrastructure projects.
- Document and resolve support tickets, ensuring timely completion.
- Provide remote and on-site support as required.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in IT support, with a strong focus on Windows environments.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure.
- Experience with basic networking protocols and security, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator or CompTIA Network+ are desirable.
