IT Support Engineer Contract in Dublin, Ireland, providing Level 2 support, troubleshooting, and network security tasks in a hybrid environment with Microsoft systems.
Reperio Human Capital is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their team in Dublin. This role will focus on providing high-level technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and assisting with network and security tasks in a hybrid environment.
- Provide Level 2 support for Windows-based environments, including Active Directory and Office 365
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, escalating when necessary
- Support the configuration and deployment of Microsoft 365 and Azure services
- Assist with network security, managing firewalls and VPNs
- Participate in system upgrades and infrastructure projects
- Document and resolve support tickets, ensuring timely completion
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in IT support, with a strong focus on Windows environments
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure
- Experience with basic networking protocols and security, including firewalls and VPNs
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator or CompTIA Network+ are desirable
