IT Support Engineer Dublin - Hybrid €50K + depending on experience Excellent benefits **Only candidates authorized to work within the European Union will be considered** Our well-known Irish client is looking for an IT Support Engineer to support their IT systems to ensure seamless operation and implementation of technical solutions to improve business processes. You will also serve as a technical lead, troubleshooting issues and managing vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and oversee the operation of POS systems and customer-facing solutions. - Provide 3rd level technical support for company systems. - Lead the implementation of new technologies during store openings and upgrades. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues. - Collaborate on cross-departmental projects and ensure IT standards are met. - Manage vendor relationships to ensure service quality. Requirements: 2+ years experience in a similar client-facing role. IT-related degree would be beneficial but not essential. Proficient in Windows Operating Systems (Client/Server) and basic networking. Act as technical lead for various departmental projects. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Full and clean driving license required. - Beneficial but not essential: Linux experience (Red Hat, CentOS). Advanced networking knowledge (Cisco, Fortinet). Knowledge of PowerShell, Python, Ansible etc and Oracle / SQL databases. Certification: Cisco, CompTIA A+, Microsoft.
