Galway Based Hybrid Role - 2 Days/Week Working From Home €50,000 - €60,000/Year DOE + Benefits Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing service solutions company with ambitious plans for significant growth over the next five years. Due to the continuous expansion, they are now seeking an ambitious IT Support Team Lead to join their team. The ideal candidate is driven, adaptable, and ready for a challenge in a fast-paced environment. As the business grows, there will be opportunities for skill development and career progression. You will have at least 3 years experience in L2 Support role and a solid background in supporting Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, OneDrive, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Exchange Online). Experience in managing user onboarding and offboarding in Azure AD and On-Prem AD environments is crucial, along with a strong understanding of IP network communication and basic IP subnetting. Familiarity with AutoTask, Datto RMM, and IT Glue is a plus.  Your Responsibilities: Lead and mentor the IT support team, initially managing one Level 2 support technician with plans for team expansion over the next two years. Provide expert support for Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications. Implement and manage user onboarding/offboarding procedures in both Azure AD and On-Prem AD environments. Ensure all support requests are logged and updated in the ticketing system. Regularly update end-users on the progress of their tickets. Conduct ticket reviews with the Level 2 support engineer and guide them on resolutions. Document procedures and fixes in IT Glue. Develop and enforce IT policies to maintain high standards of service. Monitor and report on team performance, providing feedback and identifying improvement areas. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies. Your Experience: Proven experience in an IT support role, with expertise in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications. Strong knowledge of user onboarding/offboarding in Azure AD and On-Prem AD environments. Solid understanding of IP network communication and basic IP subnetting. Experience with AutoTask, Datto RMM, and IT Glue is highly desirable. Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to mentor and develop team members. Strong problem-solving skills, able to work under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
