IT Support Technician role in Dublin 1, providing technical advice and assistance to clients and end users, with a strong focus on problem-solving and troubleshooting.
As an IT Support Technician, you will be part of a team providing remote and telephone support for SMB and Enterprise customers. Your role will involve providing technical advice and practical assistance to our clients and end users.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to isolate problems to specific parts of a system and diagnose under tight time constraints.
- Good all-round knowledge including resolving issues with PCs, networks, and networked devices (scanners, switches, etc).
- Performing system administration and maintenance, taking ownership of user problems, and being proactive when dealing with user issues.
- Creating and updating technical documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and manuals.
Key qualifications and experience include:
- Experience in IT support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Cloud technologies, including Office 365, Share Point, Intune, and Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Core Microsoft Products, including Active Directory, 365 Exchange, and Share Point.
- Experience with networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with Fortinet Firewalls and Ubiquity networking products would be beneficial.
