A client of mine is exclusively hiring for an IT Support Technician to join their Dublin-based team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in Windows environments who is looking to gain hands-on experience across a variety of technologies.
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in ongoing business projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide frontline support for Windows-based systems, including troubleshooting software, hardware, and network issues.
- Assist in the configuration and support of Office 365 and related Microsoft applications.
- Participate in IT projects such as system rollouts, migrations, and hardware upgrades.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to ensure smooth operation of the IT infrastructure.
- Provide on-site support for end-users and assist with equipment setup and maintenance.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a Windows environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting and network basics.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or similar.
