IT Support Technician sought for hybrid role in Galway, providing Level 2 support for Windows-based infrastructure, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
A client of mine is looking for an IT Support Technician to provide Level 2 support in a fast-paced environment. You will handle troubleshooting, system maintenance, and support for a Windows-based infrastructure. The role involves working on both daily IT issues and assisting with key IT projects.

Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 technical support for Windows desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and Office 365.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Support Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Document and resolve support tickets, ensuring timely updates and solutions.
- Assist in IT infrastructure projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
- Provide remote and on-site support as needed.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, with expertise in Windows environments.
- Experience with Office 365 and Active Directory management.
- Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or equivalent are a plus.
