IT Support Technician sought for hybrid role in Galway, providing Level 2 support for Windows-based infrastructure, with expertise in Office 365 and Active Directory management.
As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, system maintenance, and support for a fast-paced environment. Your duties will include:
- Providing Level 2 technical support for Windows desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Managing user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and Office 365.
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Supporting Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, and Share Point.
- Documenting and resolving support tickets, ensuring timely updates and solutions.
- Assisting in IT infrastructure projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
- Providing remote and on-site support as needed.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, with expertise in Windows environments.
- Experience with Office 365 and Active Directory management.
- Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications such as Comp TIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or equivalent.
