Our Dublin based client are looking for a Senior IT Systems Administrator to join their growing team. Excellent opportunity with a company operating on large scale with a strong user base Main Responsibilities: Perform Windows Server and Linux installations and upgrades across Production, Development and Staging Environments Administration of Data Storage and System backups Provide systems management, maintenance and support of critical IT Infrastructure to support 24/7 environment Manage and Maintain 3rdParty IT Supplier Contracts Provide Support for incoming service requests from large on-site user base and also remote support to European locations Maintain Documentation for new and existing IT Services Be part of a team to Implement and deploy new technologies to help achieve business goals Support on-site Telephony system Skills/Experience 3rdLevel IT Qualification VMWare ESXi, VMWare vCenter, VMWare vSphere experience is essential Networking: VLANs, Switching, WIFI, routing, LAN, WAN 3 + years in IT Systems Administrator role Linux Administration experience is essential for this role Windows Server Administration experience is essential for this role IT Certifications an advantage in Microsoft, Linux or Cisco Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written communication and verbal skills Ability to prioritise and complete tasks in effective and timely manner Educational Requirements Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in an IT discipline Significant experience within Identity and Authentication Technology experience Some IT experience in regulated large, enterprise, with multi-location data centers CISSP or other security certification would be a benefit for the role Microsoft technology certification is advantageous but not essential HOW TO APPLY: If you are interested in this role, please apply for this role with your updated CV and I will be in touch to discuss your application in detail.
