MCS Group is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join their client, a thriving and well-established organisation with locations across Ireland who support and advise some of the biggest, most important sectors across the country. With multiple projects in the pipeline, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Sys Admin with experience in Microsoft Technologies to join a successful team in a newly created position. The Role The Sys Admin will dive in with the Infrastructure team to ensure stable and efficient systems across Networks, Servers and the Cloud. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders providing amazing service and support, ensuring they can work effectively with the systems in place. You'll act as a Project Manager when required during implementations and upgrades. The Person (Essentials) You'll have at least 5 years' experience in Systems Administration in an enterprise environment. You'll have experience managing the systems admin of physical and virtual servers, Windows systems, VMWare and cloud technologies (Azure, 365) You'll be hold a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field You'll hold a current valid driving licence in Ireland. You'll have the right to work in Ireland (EU Citizen/Stamp 4 Visa) Happy to work in a hybrid model with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote working per week. The Person (Nice to Have) You'll hold certifications in Microsoft/VMWare/Cisco technologies Networking knowledge/experience and certifications e.g CCNA ITIL Certification PRINCE2 PM certification Public sector vendor management/procurement experience Salary Starting salary is €51,137 with a leading benefits package including pension and increased holidays.
