Job Description
Develop applications, portals, and APIs using Java and Python, supporting users, and ensuring high availability of application systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain various application domain systems
- Monitor and test application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement fixes
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies for various applications
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
- Provide support to application users and help solve IT problems
Requirements:
- Java Certified Engineer and 5 years experience
- Python and Django/Flask certification and 3 years experience
- Proficiency in REACT, Angular, Django, Flask, Fast API, Springboot, and Tomcat
- Knowledge and experience of Linux, MS Windows 10/11, Windows Server
- Knowledge and experience of API security and authentication, Azure Cloud, and Azure Devops
- Good problem-solving skills and CI/CD (Jenkins) knowledge
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge and experience of Powershell, Prophet, MIND, or similar Risk Modelling tools
- Knowledge and experience of various monitoring tools, C#, and databases (e.g. MS SQL Server)
- Knowledge of Financial systems and processes using SNOW Helpdesk system, Agile methodologies, and MS Excel
- Use of Automated testing tools - Load Runner, Selenium etc.
- Financial domain experience with a focus on Life and Health Insurance/Reinsurance
