Java Developer
This is an opportunity to join a well-established development team with our Dublin-based client on a permanent basis. The client is based in the city centre and offers an excellent benefits package and operates a hybrid model of work.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and adhere to a high standard of code and unit testing
- Work alongside team members, both technical and non-technical
- Investigate issues and provide solutions
- Carry out root cause analysis
- Design applications and systems
- Provide system testing support
- Assist in building new systems and improving stability and security of complex systems
Essential Experience:
- A minimum of 4/5 years' hands-on design and development experience as a full-stack developer
- Expertise in Java frameworks (Spring)
- Experience with tools and frameworks including Spring Boot, Rest APIs, Docker, Maven and CI/CD (Git and Maven)
- Proficiency in software engineering principles, encompassing DevOps, and associated tooling
- A strong grasp of data persistence, database technologies, and effective communication skills within agile teams
Desirable Skills:
- Some knowledge of Front End technologies, including HTML, JavaScript and Angular
