JOB PROFILEJP1 - Security & Fire Systems Lead EngineerIntroduction: Coleman Electronics Ltd. are seeking to employ a skilled engineer/technician within the above sector. The suitable candidate will possess the required skill set along with an appropriate degree of professionalism required to join our vastly experienced and highly successful team. This position involves the installation, maintenance & commissioning of Intruder Alarm Systems, CCTV Systems both Analogue & IP, Access Control Systems & Fire Alarm Systems. This position is a senior role within the company.Role Responsibilities:Maintenance & Installation of the above systems in line with company procedures and industry standards.Installation & Maintenance of Integrated Services to include Fire Alarm Graphics, CCTV, Access Control & Perimeter Intruder Detection.Programme, Test and Commission each of the system components.Demonstrations to the End User on the operations of the above systems.Testing of Alarm & Video Signals to the Alarm Receiving Centre.Complete all required documentation electronically/hard copy from customers daily in line with the company procedures.Represent the company and yourself to the highest levels of service in line with the company procedures.Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.A senior level role which will require managing of junior technicians & engineers.Reporting and working alongside Technical Manager on key projects for government agencies and multinational organisations.New product development and implementation.Attending emergency callouts when required.Skills & Qualifications:City & Guilds Craftsperson, Electrical/Electronic Degree or Mechatronics Degree is required.PC skills are essential especially with a focus on IT networking.A passion for delivering excellent customer service, installations and maintenance is essential.Full clean driving licence is essential.Safe pass and Garda vetting certification is desirable.Previous installation experience is required with at least 5 years experience with a recognised security company.Training completed with up to date security equipment is desirable.5 years+ experience in the Security Sector.Remuneration:This position comes with a company vehicle, mobile phone & laptop.Location:The post is based from our Ballina Office and will require continuous travel on a daily basis.
