We are seeking a skilled engineer/technician to install and maintain automatic gates, barriers, and access control systems for a range of clients in various sectors.

Coleman Electronics Ltd. is a leading company in the electronic & security industry in the West & North West of Ireland. We are looking for a highly skilled engineer/technician to join our team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Installing, servicing, and maintaining automatic gates, barriers, and access control systems to the latest European standards.
• Diagnosing and rectifying basic faults with electro-mechanical and mechanical products.
• Direct reporting to the Technical Manager.
• Attending emergency call outs when required.
**Skills Required:**
• 3 years+ industry-related experience.
• Experience with the following systems: FAACCAMERECORDDITECHDORMA.
• An engineering degree would be advantageous.
• PC skills are essential, especially with a focus on IT networking.
• A passion for delivering excellent customer service, installations, and maintenance is essential.
• Full clean driving licence is essential.
• Safe pass and Garda vetting certification is desirable.
• Previous installation experience is required with at least 3 years experience with a recognised security company.
• Training completed with up-to-date security equipment is desirable.
**Role Responsibilities:**
• Installation of systems in line with company procedures and industry standards.
• Maintenance of systems in line with company procedures and industry standards.
• Programming, testing, and commissioning each of the system components.
• Demonstrating operations of systems to end users.
• Completing all required documentation electronically/on paper from customers daily in line with company procedures.
• Representing the company and yourself to the highest levels of service.
• Working on your own initiative and as part of a team.
• Being prepared to travel on a regular basis and provide cover in all geographical areas throughout the island of Ireland when required.
• Ability to spec up jobs, including creating bills of quantities for the pricing department.
