The Position Forvis Mazars Financial Accounting and Outsourcing Services Division provides accounting reporting and compliance services to clients in various sectors including manufacturing, distribution, retail, financial services, professional services and public sector. We provide businesses with a cost-effective full finance function, as well as ensuring compliance with all reporting and tax regulations. Our outsourcing clients range from the largest global companies to emerging businesses who are establishing operations in Ireland as well as indigenous SME businesses. and public sector organisations. The day to day: Preparation of statutory financial statements Preparation of management accounts Preparation and submission of VAT, VIES and Intrastat return Staff training and supervision Liaising with clients and attendance at client meetings Liaising with Revenue Commissioners Responsible for review of book-keeping and related files including all balance sheet reconciliations Review of monthly work in progress and billing Review and control of monthly invoice Preparation of proposals and presentations to clients Ad hoc administrative duties as required Principal Requirements Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or similar) Experience of working with public sector organisations Confident in using Microsoft Word and Excel Meticulous attention to detail Ability to work effectively to deadlines Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Knowledge of computerised accounts packages is an advantage (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Sage Line 50, Surf, Xero, Accounts IQ, Quickbooks) Ability to work on own initiative Ability to work effectively as part of a team Don't wait.
