Junior Accounts Payable Clerk Job In Cork

Junior Accounts Payable Clerk role available in Cork City Centre, ideal for recent graduates in Accounting, Business, Finance or similar.

This is a fully on-site role, located in Cork City Centre, with a high volume of monthly premium payments to insurance companies.

Responsibilities:

• Dealing with a high volume of monthly premium payments to insurance companies.
• Liaising with Client Executives & insurance companies to resolve account queries.
• Processing & issuing refund cheques.
• Daily control of bank lodgements.
• Insurer ledger reconciliation.
• Sending lapsed papers to insurance companies.
• Scanning statements and insurance payments on a monthly basis.
• Reconciling daily lodgements and lodging monies to bank (twice a week).

Requirements:

• Recent graduate in Accounting, Business, Finance or similar.
• Experience in a similar role is an advantage.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).
• Ability to prioritise workload in order to meet deadline.
