Job Description

Support the growth of our projects business by offering design and engineering services, creating and coordinating BIM models, and producing drawings for implementation on site.

The purpose of this role is to support the growth of our projects business through offering design and engineering services as part of evaluating and scoping new project requirements and specifications.

Key responsibilities:

  • Co-ordination & Construction Issue drawings
  • Supporting projects with implementing 3D coordination
  • Working with the BIM manager to assist in any drawing related support required for projects
  • Writing BIM (digital) strategies and BIM execution plans (for bids and live projects)
  • Visit sites to validate & check implementation of drawings by the site teams
  • Train up on the use of the 3D camera under the guidance of the BIM manager

Education:

  • College qualification only required, but previous work placements would be an advantage
  • Initial experience in the Data Centre or any other critical environment would be a plus
  • Good understanding of a BIM role in general

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of electrical & mechanical systems an advantage
  • Knowledge of BIM & Auto CAD
  • Broad understanding of construction methods for M&E services
  • Presentation skills
  • High degree of integrity
  • Motivated and self-aware
  • Organised with attention to detail
