Junior Conferencing Systems Engineer - Dublin 18 Reed is once again delighted to partner with a long standing Client of ours. They are a multinational Technology business, and we are assisting them with recruitment for a Junior Conferencing Systems Engineer. Please read on for more information on this great opportunity! This is an entry level position - ideal for candidates who are passionate about technology and eager to learn about the installation, configuration, and maintenance of conferencing systems. The role involves hands-on experience with Poly, Logitech, and Microsoft collaboration devices, as well as active participation in site surveys, quoting, and sales process support. Full clean driving license essential Duties in the role: Assist in the installation and configuration of conferencing systems, including Poly, Logitech, and Microsoft devices. Participate in site surveys under the guidance of senior engineers to understand client requirements. Help prepare quotes and proposals for conferencing system solutions. Support the sales team in managing deals, providing technical insights as needed. Receive training on technical support and end-user education for conferencing systems. Learn about industry standards and advancements in conferencing technology. Adhere to company policies and industry best practices during all technical activities. Qualifications: Qualification or currently pursuing a qualification in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field would be an advantage. Basic understanding of network infrastructure and audio-visual technologies is a plus. Strong desire to learn and grow within the field of conferencing systems engineering. Effective communication skills and a customer service orientation. Availability to travel to client sites for hands-on experience.
