Junior Design Engineer| Killanny, Co. Louth | A91 DY95 Full Time | Mon-Thurs (8am-5pm) to Fri (8am-2pm) €30,000 - €35,000 | On-site parking For over 40 years, our client has been a trusted name in grain milling. They are expanding their team and are seeking a Junior Design Engineer. You will work closely with and report directly to the Senior Design Engineer, gaining hands-on experience in a highly supportive environment. A third-level degree is required. Are you the right person for the job? Third level degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 1-3 years of Engineering experience desired Proficient with Solid Edge or Solid Works drawing software Proficient in reading & understanding technical drawings and specifications Proficient using all aspects of Microsoft Office Graphic design experience, desirable Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interpret and communicate data accurately Must be reliable, motivated and have an excellent work ethic Ability to work as part of a team What will your role look like? Design, develop or improve solutions for new and existing customers Support sales activities for key customers with technical calls and visits as and when required Prepare drawings for plasma cutting and press brake operations Check and update production documentation as required Liaise with Senior Designer and Production on design improvements Provide technical support to customers/distributors and suppliers Remote working not available Whats next?
