Galileo Energy Services is a dynamic Building Services Engineering Consultancy practice with a proven track record in low energy and value for money building services design. Due to our expanding portfolio of projects, we are now seeking to recruit the services of an Intermediate Building Services Engineer for our Celbridge Office: Qualifications: Level 7 or Level Qualification in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Desired Skills and Experience: Degree qualified with 1-2 years experience (not essential) Experience in project delivery from concept stage to completion Ability to present and communicate ideas with clients, architects and contractors Thorough knowledge of building services engineering design Aptitude for managing projects from start to finish (can do approach) Proficient in the use of software tools (CAD, Revit, IES, Microsoft Suite etc) Be capable of taking the lead on projects with support from management team ability to work unsupervised. A strong ability to communicate with the team and clients through sketching, drawing and in writing Highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges The Key Activities: Act as Project Engineer including mechanical and electrical design for a range of projects; particularly in the commercial, educational and healthcare sectors Develop project scope with design team / clients including budgeting and reporting Implement and oversee successful design solutions for Projects Oversee Resource Management and Planning to ensure successful Project delivery Liaison with utilities providers Attending site meeting and online meetings Provide mentoring of Junior Engineering staff Assist the Management Team with Business Development and Financial Control activities Why work with Galileo Energy Services: Nice atmosphere were all in the same team Ongoing CPD and mentoring from Directors Good opportunities to progress within the company Annual Salary review 20 days Annual leave with one additional day per 2 years served up to 26 days Company pension scheme Company events Company Mobile phone and Laptop Working from home where feasible
