Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the site meets all regulatory licensing requirements.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Lead efforts to achieve reduction targets for energy, carbon, water, and waste through effective measurement, analysis, and reporting.
  • Data Management: Capture, analyze, and report on all relevant data concerning effluent, energy, water, waste, and sustainability.
  • Project Measurement & Verification: Oversee the measurement and verification of energyrelated projects.

Functional Collaboration:
Work with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance environmental management and monitoring programs.

  • ISO Management: Maintain and continuously improve the ISO50001 Energy Management System on site, and assist with the upkeep of the ISO14001 Environmental Management System.
  • Site Audits: Conduct energy and environmental audits to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance the site's resilience to climate change.
  • Training & Development: Develop and implement learning opportunities and training plans for staff, including managing the delivery of environmental awareness weeks onsite.
  • Sustainability Projects: Collaborate with the group environmental team on upcoming sustainability projects and strategies.
  • Problem-Solving: Tackle a wide range of business challenges in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have or demonstrate the following:

  • A relevant third-level qualification in Environmental Science or Engineering (preferably a B.Sc. or B.E. degree in Engineering) or a closely related discipline.
