About the Role
Energia Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Huntstown Power Station in Dublin. As a key member of our HSE team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, contractors, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and welfare at work legislation and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective health and safety policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement health and safety training programs.
- Monitor and report on health and safety performance metrics and trends.
Requirements
- Third-level qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of health and safety legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering results.
