Junior Interior Designer (Dublin) – Corporate Interiors

Perkins&Will Dublin studio is currently recruiting for talented Junior Interior Designers with experience in corporate interiors and Graduate Interior Designers with a keen interest in corporate interiors. There is growth potential within the company for the right candidates. Job Summary:

  1. Support the partners, directors, associates, and project leads at all stages of a project(s) from inception through to completion.
  2. Represent the practice and raise its profile in a positive manner.
  3. Contribute to the development of the practice.
  4. Attend CPD's on a regular basis and maintain an up-to-date CPD record.
  5. Regularly contribute to Design Reviews by gathering and presenting information.
  6. Assist with the preparation of tender presentation material.
  7. Assist in the collection and preparation of the project briefing documents.
  8. Assist with design and production information.
  9. Produce presentation finishes boards.
  10. Research products and material specifications and investigate suitability for use and maintenance.
  11. Research furniture desking systems and integration with IT.

Skills and Experience:

  1. Demonstrate the ability to develop excellent design and technical skills.
  2. Ability to undertake ongoing research of furniture systems, products, finishes, and materials.
  3. Good interpersonal skills and a good team player.
  4. Demonstrate the ability to develop client management skills.
  5. Good AutoCAD and Revit skills and a good working knowledge of other project software.
  6. Experience in REVIT and ENSCAPE.
  7. Experience in Excel, InDesign, Photoshop.
  8. Good colour sense.
  9. Working knowledge of Building regulations, Technical guidance Documents, British Standards, and other relevant statutory legislation.
  10. A degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
  11. Ability to communicate pleasantly and professionally with both staff and clients.
  12. Possess an enthusiastic interest in design and creativity.
  13. Be self-motivated and committed to achieving personal and company missions and visions.
