Further details on our benefits package can be accessed here Benefits (life- Role Overview ILIM has an exciting new permanent role for an enthusiastic candidate to work as an Investment Analyst within the Multi-Asset Team. This team is responsible for the development of multi-asset and structured investment solutions for ILIM's Retail and Institutional clients, with direct responsibility for over €20bn in assets. This is a great opportunity to join a fast growing, dynamic multi-disciplined team and contribute to the management of Ireland's largest multi-asset funds. This position is ideal for candidates with 1-3 years of experience, either within investment management or another field, and who are looking for a new opportunity to grow and develop their career in a leading asset management company. More specific responsibilities will include Analysing and providing commentary on fund performance across our multi asset funds Developing and using a range of qualitative and quantitative fund management techniques to develop customised investment solutions for our clients Applying top-down investment insights to multi-asset class portfolios in collaboration with single asset class specialists Contributing to idea generation across equities, fixed income, currencies and alternatives Supporting the on-going product development agenda within the team Interacting with client and sales teams to support business development opportunities Developing and maintaining relationships across ILIM and the Irish Life Group Maintaining and enhancing a number of proprietary quantitative tools used to assist our investment decisions What you will need to be successful in the role 1 - 3 years' experience (investment experience not essential) An interest in investment markets and the investment industry A strong academic record, preferably in a quantitative field such as finance, economics, computer science, physics or similar Desire to undertake (or currently undertaking) the CFA or a similar professional qualification (this will be supported in line with the company's educational support policy) Analytical and quick to learn Hardworking with a drive for achieving results A good problem solver, who can demonstrate their thinking process A great communicator Collaborative with ability to work both as part of a team and independently Ambitious and inquisitive with a strong attention to detail Prior experience with Python, R or MATLAB would be advantageous About us Irish Life Investment Managers (ILIM), an investment firm authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland, has been part of the Great West Lifeco group of companies since 2013.
