Exciting opportunity within our Cloud & Engineering Team : Deloitte has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Java Developer within the Cloud & Engineering team. This position requires travel to Dublin West/ Kildare and candidates must have access to public or their own transport and be available to travel. About the role: Coding new developments and/ or enhancements as defined in a technical design Adhere to code quality and unit testing standards Identify and implement integration tests, automating tests where appropriate Participating in peer reviews of code Providing system test support when code is migrated to System Test Design and delivery of innovative solutions to client needs using J2EE technology Creating the delivery of high-quality solutions that are validated using approaches such as Test-driven development About you: Third level qualification in Computer Science/Engineering or a related discipline Java/ J2EE development experience essential Ideally some demonstrated industry experience in one or more of the following: - Systems Analysis & Design; Software Development - Object Orientated Design; Software Development techniques - Agile Java technologies, spring frameworks, hibernate, angular JS, COBOL, salt, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web services, relational databases, unit/ integration test. Experience with RxJs, NgRx is desirable Database Development & Administration in - Oracle, UNIX, XML, SQL Server in particular Implementation of Software Patterns; Web Design and Development Be in commutable distance to Dublin West/ Kildare.
