Job Description

Our Client: A Dublin-city based global asset manager with €30+bn AUM - known for its positive culture, and low attrition. The Opportunity: Join an existing talented In House Legal team reporting directly into the Head of Legal. Gain broad exposure from product development, fund launches, and transactional documentation, through to ad hoc projects, and representing at industry & external events. Super career development opportunities in a company with a track record of promoting Dublin city centre offices | Hybrid model This is a 9-month FTC position - with a likelihood of a permanent opportunity upon completion of the contract for the right candidate given the organization’s ongoing success and growth. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Assist in Fund approvals / amendments and updates - including drafting, reviewing and negotiating relevant documents, to preparing and filing Central Bank applications, liaising with the Central Bank and other relevant regulators as appropriate. Fund Documentation - draft, review, and maintain relevant Fund documentation and related ancillary documents. Transactional Documents - draft and review fund transactional documentation e.g., transaction confirmations, ISDA etc. Product Development - assist with the product development range from initial conception stage through to internal and regulator approval Horizon Scan - horizon scan and ensure the organization is kept up to date on relevant legislative and regulatory developments and advise on and assist with the implementation of same Board and Committee Meetings – assist internal stakeholders and the Company Secretary preparing and organizing quarterly board meetings and product committee meetings. Industry Events - attend and represent the organization at relevant conferences and industry events. Projects - participation in ad-hoc regulatory and business projects Key Skills & Qualifications: Qualified solicitor or lawyer, or lawyer with equivalent qualification in another jurisdiction. Minimum of 2 years' PQE - working in Ireland. Relevant in-House legal experience advantageous Previous experience in investment funds is essential Excellent communication skills - written and verbal Proven ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment Team player, strong interpersonal skills, also self-motivated #J-18808-Ljbffr
