Job Description
Junior Engineer (Mechanical) required for a leading company in Tipperary, Ireland, to work on projects in the South of Ireland, covering pipe fabrication and installation.
AA Euro Group has been retained by our Client to recruit a Junior Engineer (Mechanical) who will join their team to cover projects based in the South of Ireland. This is a permanent role with a pipe fabrication and installation company.
- Assist the Mechanical Project Engineer in planning work efficiently to ensure deadlines are met.
- Support the on-site installation of prefabricated steel piping and other components on smaller-scale projects.
- Work alongside the design team to help issue isometrics and drawings to the piping supervisors.
- Assist in tracking weld logs and participate in daily progress meetings.
- Help the project manager to ensure materials are ordered and ready for the site team.
- Support quality control and safety measures on project sites.
- Provide assistance in resolving unexpected technical difficulties that may arise.
- Maintain high standards and a proactive attitude towards learning.
Requirements:
- A degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or a background in a relevant trade.
- Exposure to the Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, or Cleanroom sectors is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- +1 year of experience in a similar role or relevant internships.
