AA Euro Group has been retained by our Client, based in Tipperary, to recruit a Junior Engineer (Mechanical) who will join their team to cover projects based in the South of Ireland. This is a permanent role with a pipe fabrication and installation company. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in mechanical engineering and some exposure to piping systems. The Role: Assist the Mechanical Project Engineer in planning work efficiently to ensure deadlines are met. Support the on-site installation of prefabricated steel piping and other components on smaller-scale projects. Work alongside the design team to help issue isometrics and drawings to the piping supervisors. Assist in tracking weld logs and participate in daily whiteboard progress meetings. Help the project manager to ensure materials are ordered and ready for the site team. Support quality control and safety measures on project sites. Provide assistance in resolving unexpected technical difficulties that may arise. Maintain high standards and a proactive attitude towards learning. All other duties as required by the role. Requirements: A degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or a background in a relevant trade. Exposure to the Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, or Cleanroom sectors is an advantage. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. +1 year of experience in a similar role or relevant internships.
