The Parts Department plays a crucial role in our dealership's operations. As a Junior Parts Advisor, you will represent our business to both trade and public customers, while also ensuring accurate and timely supply of parts to support the efficient running of our workshop. While prior experience is beneficial, full training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct vehicle parts for their needs.
  2. Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly and professionally responding to inquiries, concerns, and requests.
  3. Keep accurate inventory records, including ordering and restocking parts as necessary.
  4. Use computerised systems to process orders, track inventory, and manage parts transactions.
  5. Help receive and inspect incoming parts orders, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  6. Coordinate with the Service Team and Technicians to ensure parts are available to maintain workflow in the workshop.
  7. Stay up to date on new vehicle parts, products, and industry trends to better assist customers.
  8. Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  1. Basic computer skills and the ability to use computerized systems.
  2. A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  3. Experience in customer service or a garage environment is preferred but not essential.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  6. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  7. Knowledge of vehicle parts is a bonus.
