Job Summary: Junior Planner role in Cork, Ireland, involves producing construction schedules, tracking progress, and collaborating with teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
About the Role
- Produce construction schedules for client agreement with Project Manager
- Maintain construction schedule and track planned vs actual progress
- Work with construction team members to capture and log issues affecting progress
- Attend site meetings and monitor original vs actual budgets for scope growth/changes
- Use internal database project control system to ensure all progress is captured
- Monitor fabrication shops and site installation output
- Use database reporting system for circulation of information to project team
- Take lead in production/co-ordination of weekly construction reports
Requirements
- Relevant 3rd level qualification
- Minimum 2 years post qualification experience (ideally in M&E contracting environment)
- Experience in Primavera P6 software required
