Job Description

This position is based in our new state of the art Head Office in Maynooth. As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of a residential project under the guidance of a Senior QS.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Carry out Quantity Surveying duties, including measurement, procurement, cost monitoring, cost control, reporting and preparation of interim payments.
  • Assist in the procurement of subcontractor packages.
  • Conduct MEAT Analysis in line with company procurement guidelines.
  • Regularly attend site and ensure sufficient records of progress are taken.
  • Produce information for the cash flow forecast and monthly internal valuation.
  • Ensure Sub-contractors submit monthly valuations.

Requirements:

  • Degree educated in Quantity Surveying with some post graduate experience.
  • Strong on technical construction details and experience in residential construction.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient across the full MS Office suite.
