This position is based in our new state of the art Head Office in Maynooth. As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of a residential project under the guidance of a Senior QS.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Carry out Quantity Surveying duties, including measurement, procurement, cost monitoring, cost control, reporting and preparation of interim payments.
- Assist in the procurement of subcontractor packages.
- Conduct MEAT Analysis in line with company procurement guidelines.
- Regularly attend site and ensure sufficient records of progress are taken.
- Produce information for the cash flow forecast and monthly internal valuation.
- Ensure Sub-contractors submit monthly valuations.
Requirements:
- Degree educated in Quantity Surveying with some post graduate experience.
- Strong on technical construction details and experience in residential construction.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient across the full MS Office suite.
