Job Description
We have a new opportunity for a Quality Controller to join a successful FMCG. The role would suit a recent Food Science Graduate or someone with 1-2 years of experience in the Food Industry.
- Carry out product inspections on all incoming product and ensure all produce meets the required specification.
- Communicate product quality with suppliers and site management.
- Complete calibration control and temperature control checks as per company SOP and report any deviations.
- Carry out daily weight control checks.
- Recording of shelf-life inspections.
- Carry out hygiene/GMP audits.
- Ensuring HACCP and BRC principles are continuously met for product safety and process control.
- Assisting the Technical Manager with audits such as BRC, Bord Bia, Global Gap.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience in the food industry.
- Experience in Food Safety audits preferred.
- Degree in Food Science or similar is desired but not essential.
- Full driving licence & access to a car.
