Job Summary: This role offers a unique opportunity for the right candidate to gain comprehensive, hands-on experience in various facets of the food industry. Working across both prepared fruit and hot food divisions, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our quality standards while supporting the operations of our production team. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, you will ensure that our processes align with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adhere to the highest industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily GMP checks in the Hot Kitchen to ensure that hygiene, safety, and quality protocols are rigorously followed. Collect, organize, and file production records, ensuring all documentation is up to date and easily accessible. Conduct finished product assessments to guarantee products meet quality, safety, and customer expectations, providing detailed reports on findings. Auditing & Record Management: Assist in conducting internal audits, contributing to the identification and rectification of any non-conformances within the facility. Carry out Glass & Hard Plastic Audits to eliminate contamination risks, ensuring a safe production environment. Manage the collection, organization, and filing of weekly and monthly records for the Fruit division. Ensure blank monthly records are printed and prepared for fruit production processes. Maintain accurate maintenance records to track equipment servicing, repairs, and performance. Functional & Compliance Checks: Perform functional checks on equipment and processes across the facility, with daily, weekly, and monthly reviews to guarantee smooth operations. Conduct print head checks to ensure proper labeling and packaging compliance, preventing product recalls or labeling issues. Key Attributes: Strong communication skills: You will interact with multiple teams, so effective communication and collaboration are essential. Self-starter: While you will receive support and guidance, the ability to work independently and proactively is crucial. Initiative-driven: Must be comfortable taking the lead in problem-solving and recommending process improvements when necessary.
