Junior / Trainee QS role with project & office admin required to join estimating team of a busy minor buildings & Civil Engineering & Construction Company. This position is temporary for maternity cover with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. Candidates must be within a commutable distance to Foxford as this is an in person role Role Description: Assisting with pricing projects and completing pre qualification documents Checking e-tenders & supply gov for new project opportunities Raising back up documents for submittal with invoices (these to include the costs to be invoiced) Updating progress with live projects & communicating with project teams regarding new projects starting Compiling safety folders for applicable projects to ensure certificates of completion of issued Updating training records and training matrix and booking courses where applicable Updating vehicle and plant records and ensuring we comply with RSA record keeping requirements Any other adhoc project or office administration as reasonably required Must have some knowledge of the construction industry. Must be computer literate use of Excel, word & outlook Skills: * Junior Quantity Surveyor * * Attention to Detail * * Willingness to learn *
