Job Description

JUNIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR, DUBLIN, IRELANDOur client is a European Contractor that builds and manages complex engineering projects that reimagine how people work and live in the built environment. Our determination and focus enable us to deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Enterprise Data Centres, Advanced Technology & Life Sciences, Hyperscale Data Centres, Fire Protection, Technical Support Services (TSS), Data Centre Facility Management, Healthcare & Building Services.Key Responsibilities of the Role: To provide full support to Construction Team on all Quantity Surveying and Contract Administration functions including, but not limited to the following:Review and understanding project contract documentationPreparing and analysing supplier and sub-contractor enquiriesPreparation and issuing of contract documents to our supply chainMonitoring change in our scope of work and pricing of variationsPreparing and agreeing Monthly progress applicationsFinancial and contractual control of sub-contractor accountsIssuing of contractual notices and evaluate loss and expense/acceleration claimsProviding fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimatesPreparation of monthly commercial project reportsProvide Data and analysis of issues & risks as required by ManagementManaging and forecasting of project Cash flowsLiaising with the client, main contractor and other departmentsAll other duties associated with this roleSelection Criteria / Person Specification:Academically (Degree) qualified in either Quantity Surveying or Commercial ManagementIdeally 2+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying roleSAP & Microsoft Office advanced user skills advantageExcellent Analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailGood oral & written communication skillsTo ApplyApply online or send CV to nithin.winson@icdsuk.com for a confidential discussion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
