ProSource are recruiting a Junior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well-renowned Main Building Contractor in Dublin. €40,000 - €45,000 + package DOE About the company My client is a leading building and civil engineering contractor with a wide array of experience across all sectors of the industry. They have an international presence with a large scope of operations being carried out in the UK. This is a great opportunity to join a closely knit team who will provide all the support and mentorship needed to grow professionally. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects. Contribute to the procurement process by obtaining and analysing supplier/subcontractor quotations. Collaborate with project teams to monitor costs and ensure projects are delivered within budget. Assist in the evaluation and negotiation of variations and change orders. Perform regular site visits to assess progress and gather relevant data for cost analysis. Prepare and submit accurate and timely progress reports to senior management. Requirements: Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Familiarity with construction contracts and relevant legislation. Proficient in relevant software, such as MS Excel and project management tools.
