INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for: Job Title Junior Quantity Surveyor Project Main Contractor Job Location South Dublin Salary €35K - €45K *Salary negotiable depending on experience* About the Company Large Contractor with 50+ years in business working of a range of projects primarily in the residential development sector. They have a requirement for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join an exciting new build residential development in the South Dublin area. This role would suit a QS with up to 1 year experience working with a main contractor or subcontractor who wants to work with and grow with an experienced commercial team. This role would also suit recent graduates of Quantity surveying or Construction Management. The role will be primarily site based on a brand-new project starting excellent opportunity for a Junior QS to get hands-on experience in all aspects of the construction lifecycle. The Role Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts Ensure sub-contractors are pre-qualified in accordance with management systems Procurement of sub-contractors and preparation of sub-contractor order documentation Assessing and certification of sub-contractor interim payments Assist with estimations for new projects and tender process. Re-measurement of Bills of Quantities Lead and provide support/ mentorship to a commercial team Preparation of Interim valuations and final account Managing and valuing variations Production of monthly Cost Value Reconciliation on contracts Establish, maintain and enhance effective working relationships Plan, allocate and evaluate work carried out by teams, individuals and yourself What You Need Third level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction management. 01- years experience with a Building Contractor or Subcontractor in ROI or NI.
