ProSource are urgently recruiting a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and expanding Specialist Subcontractor in Dublin, who have a massive presence in the Leinster region. About the Role: My client is searching for an eager and self-motivated Quantity Surveyor to become an integral part of their team in Dublin. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of construction projects working alongside the Senior Quantity Surveyor while overseeing cost control and financial efficiency. €35,000 - €45,000 DOE Key Duties: Develop and manage project budgets, estimates, and cost plans. Source subcontractors, assess quotes, and negotiate contracts. Conduct cost analysis, implement value engineering, and assess risks. Supervise and regulate project costs during the construction phase. Generate and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to meet financial goals. Offer cost advice and support to the project team. Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations. Qualifications: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Exhibit a robust understanding of construction contracts and procurement. Proficient in cost estimation and financial management software. Demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Display meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
