Job Description
Junior Quantity Surveyor role in Dublin, Ireland, involves managing complex engineering projects and delivering leading-edge construction solutions.
Our client is a European Contractor that builds and manages complex engineering projects that reimagine how people work and live in the built environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and understand project contract documentation
- Prepare and analyse supplier and sub-contractor enquiries
- Prepare and issue contract documents to our supply chain
- Monitor changes in our scope of work and pricing of variations
- Prepare and agree monthly progress applications
- Financial and contractual control of sub-contractor accounts
- Issue contractual notices and evaluate loss and expense/acceleration claims
- Provide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimates
- Prepare monthly commercial project reports
- Provide data and analysis of issues & risks as required by Management
- Manage and forecast project cash flows
- Liaise with the client, main contractor and other departments
Selection Criteria:
- Academically qualified in either Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
- 2+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role
- SAP & Microsoft Office advanced user skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good oral & written communication skills
