With a reputation for quality and innovation, our client specialises in Groundworks, playing a pivotal role in the construction of residential communities that stand the test of time.Position Overview:As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with their experienced team to assist in the management of costs and contracts throughout the project lifecycle. From tendering and procurement to final account settlement, you will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of Quantity Surveying within the dynamic environment of large-scale residential projects.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of tender and contract documentsConduct cost analysis and estimate project budgetsProcure materials and subcontractors in line with project requirementsMonitor project progress and variations to ensure cost controlLiaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve commercial issuesAssist in the preparation of interim and final valuationsRequirements:Degree in Quantity Surveying or related fieldStrong numerical and analytical skillsExcellent communication and negotiation abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelAbility to work effectively within a team and independentlyPrevious experience or internship in Quantity Surveying (preferred but not essential)Interviews have already commenced so do not hesitate to apply.
