INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for: Job Title Junior Quantity Surveyor Project Main Contractor Job Location Monaghan Salary -*Salary negotiable depending on experience* About the Company Main Building Contractor who specialising in new builds across the Leinster Region. They have a requirement for a Junior Quantity Surveyor with -01 years experience to join their strong commercial team in the office primarily office-based role, limited site visits. (travel will be provided as required) This role would suit a junior or Graduate QS who wants to work with a Main Building Contractor and alongside some strong commercial team members they can grow and progress with. The Role Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts Ensure sub-contractors are pre-qualified in accordance with management systems Procurement of sub-contractors and preparation of sub-contractor order documentation Assessing and certification of sub-contractor interim payments Assist with estimations for new projects and tender process. Re-measurement of Bills of Quantities Lead and provide support/ mentorship to a commercial team Carrying out Material Take-offs Preparation of Interim valuations and final account Managing and valuing variations Production of monthly Cost Value Reconciliation on contracts Establish, maintain and enhance effective working relationships Plan, allocate and evaluate work carried out by teams, individuals and yourself What You Need Third level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction management.
