Job Role: Junior Safety Advisor Our client one of Irelands leading main building contractors is looking to employ a junior safety advisor. As a Junior Safety Advisor, you will be tasked with managing and maintaining the companys safety management system and CMS system. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Conducting regular, formal site audits and carrying out inspections as directed in the safety management system Offer guidance, instruction, and advise on all health and safety matters to management, safety representatives, and employees, including sub-contractors as necessary Aid in the companys vision on maintaining a healthy, incident and injury free workplace. Ensure that all accidents are reported, recorded, investigated and appropriate actions are taken to ensure that they do not happen again Enforce the implementation of companys policies and procedures for health safety and environmental issues Conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments. Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures. Manage & maintain employee training records in conjunction with the training department. Ensure equipment is installed safely, manage and organise the safe disposal of hazardous substances.
