Job Summary: We're seeking a skilled Application Engineer to provide technical support for Custom IC Analog Design, Mixed Signal Verification, and Virtuoso products to customers in Cork City, Ireland.
About the Role: As an Application Engineer, you will work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve technical issues and implement product enhancements. You will be responsible for:
- Providing technical support to customers for Virtuoso Analog & Mixed Signal tools
- Demonstrating strong debugging skills and negotiating bug/enhancement resolutions with R&D
- Leading internal technology rollout projects and training
- Developing and reviewing articles for inclusion in the Cadence knowledge database
- Mentoring junior-level application engineers
About the Ideal Candidate: We're looking for a highly skilled engineer with 3+ years of experience in Virtuoso Analog Design Environment, Spectre/APS, or other spice simulators. You should be able to act as a strong team member, lead team projects, and contribute to the development of the team.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Electronics and Communication/Computer Engineering or similar. Experience in IC6.1.x environment, strong debugging skills, and ability to work collaboratively are essential.
