Job Description
Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a charter school setting in Waterford, MI.
Job Description:
- Evaluate student speech-language abilities and develop treatment plans
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to IEPs
- Conduct assessments, analyze results, and develop reports to determine strengths and concerns
- Create a learning environment with effective process management strategies
- Participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings
- Develop treatment plans with instructional staff that are strength-based and child-centered
- Assist teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected and identified speech and language delays/disorders
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid MI SLP license
- Clinical Fellows welcome to apply
Support Provided:
- Mentorship provided
- Bi-weekly team meetings
- Dedicated SLP Clinical support including materials stipend and reimbursement for licensure
