Job Overview:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a dynamic Key Account Manager to join their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for building and sustaining strategic relationships with key customers, developing and executing business plans at the category level to drive growth in USG, market share, and profitability.


As the primary point of contact for customer buyers, you will lead negotiations, manage promotions, and oversee new product launches, working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.


This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will have a direct impact on business growth and customer relationships.

As a Key Account Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping the success of key customer accounts and contributing to the client's overall objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, longterm relationships with key customer buying teams, supply chain, shopper marketing, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement customer business plans for relevant categories, aligning with the client's strategic objectives and growth ambitions.
  • Lead negotiations on trade terms, trade funding, and commercial agreements, ensuring alignment with the client's overall strategy.
  • Oversee key customer events, including new product launches, cost price adjustments, and trade term compliance, ensuring flawless execution.
  • Develop and implement an integrated promotional plan, working closely with customers to drive category growth and optimise promotional investments.
  • Manage the P&L for assigned categories, ensuring accurate forecasting, pricing, and accrual management while tracking inmonth performance.
  • Collaborate with the retail operations team to ensure effective instore activation of promotions, range reviews, and customerspecific events.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • 23 years in Account Management within a FMCG Environment
  • Proven experience managing accounts in a fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively within crossfunctional teams.
  • Ability to take ownership of key customer relationships and drive business results.
  • Strong understanding of customer needs, with a focus on delivering value and growth.
  • Proactive approach to problemsolving and decisionmaking in a fastpaced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on team development and shared success.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business environments and customer needs.
