Job Description
We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment, working as part of a dynamic team to ensure smooth operations and adherence to health and safety standards.
As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the kitchen area is kept clean at all times, following a regular cleaning schedule.
- Cleaning refrigerators, ovens, grills, freezers, and food preparation areas as outlined in the cleaning protocol.
- Handling the washing of dishes, pots, and pans, as well as laundering cloths, aprons, and kitchen towels as needed.
- Receiving and storing food deliveries efficiently, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Working closely with kitchen staff to support daily operations and maintain a positive team environment.
Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekdays and weekends.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is a plus.
