Overall purpose of the job Always maintaining a supply of clean ware/cooking utensils. Responsible for cleanliness of the kitchen and wash up area. Work alongside the chef team to maintain HACCP. Main duties and responsibilities. Perform all tasks as requested by supervisor. Daily cleaning + monthly cleaning. Assist in checking, acceptance and correct storage of deliveries. Stock replenishes each day. Supporting the chef with basic food preparation tasks as required. work on their own initiative and ensure their area of responsibility is to the cleaning standards set by the company. wear full uniform and presented well. Ensure equipment is kept clean and in good working order. Show courtesy to all members of staff and client. Person specification Fluent in English Bright & smiling disposition Team player Flexible approach to duties undertaken. Willing to step in and cover annual leave / sick leave of co-workers. Full training and induction provided.
