Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team in our many units around Dublin. You will be essential to the smooth operation of the kitchen by maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency. Please note that this role is not suitable for students or people with part time availability. Shift patterns: Generally 8am-4pm/9am-5pm Roles and Responsibilities: Ensure all kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment are clean, sanitised, and ready for use. Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation, including peeling, chopping, and plating. Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly. Organize kitchen supplies and stock storage areas efficiently. Handle heavy lifting and the movement of kitchen equipment as required. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Requirements: Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter in a busy kitchen environment. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure during busy periods.
