Join us as our new KYB/KYC Specialist and help us achieve our goals!As a KYB/KYC Specialist at Yokoy, you will be responsible for conducting thorough due diligence on our business clients to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate potential risks. You will play a critical role in protecting Yokoy from fraudulent activities and ensuring that we maintain the integrity of our business operations.What you’ll do:Conduct comprehensive KYB and KYC checks on new and existing business clients, including verifying business identity, ownership structure, and financial health.Gather, analyze, and validate documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Utilize various databases, online resources, and tools to verify business information and identify potential risks.Maintain detailed records of all due diligence activities and findings.Collaborate with Yokoy partner organizations to facilitate the KYB and KYC process, and audit, and review processes.Collaborate with internal teams to address any compliance-related issues or concerns.Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, trends, and best practices to ensure our KYB processes are effective and compliant.Assist in developing and implementing KYB policies and procedures to enhance our compliance framework.Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of KYB reviews and any emerging risks.What you’ll need:Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.You have proven experience in a KYB or KYC role, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry.You have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to KYB.You have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.You are proficient in using KYB/KYC verification tools and databases.You are a strong communicator, both written and verbal.You have the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.You bring a high level of integrity and professionalism.You excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments and take pride in proactively getting things done.You are fluent in English; fluency in German would be an advantage.What you’ll get:Resources and trust: you own your work and shape things from day one.Flat hierarchies: opportunity to work closely with the founders and the leadership team.Fast-paced environment: quickly measure and learn about the impact of your work.Flexibility: everyone has their own highly productive times - we look at the output and not at what time it was produced.Hybrid setup: we enjoy in-person sessions, but we have also learned (thank you Covid) how to be efficient with remote working.Competitive scale-up package with the possibility to partake in the upside.Work anywhere: we offer up to 6 weeks remote work within the EU.We are keen to get to know you.
