Job Description

Amazon's Selling Partner Account Compliance team seeks a Programme Manager to oversee KYC controls and processes in the European region, ensuring regulatory compliance while minimizing seller impacts.

The Programme Manager will be responsible for implementing and maintaining KYC controls, collaborating with operations management teams, AML programme teams, and compliance officers to ensure regulatory requirements are met.

The role requires a strong understanding of compliance regulations, including fraud, AML, alternative payments, and consumer protection laws, as well as experience in programme management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of interpreting complex data, providing context and assurance to senior stakeholders, and driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively identifying situations that may pose significant compliance risk and guiding management in the development/reviewing of applicable policies, procedures, and business practices.
  • Participating in the review and analysis of new regulatory developments and maintaining oversight of developments impacting business activities.
  • Collaborating in compliance advisory and integration projects, conducting compliance assessments, and defining requirements for business projects and initiatives.
  • Ensuring the implementation of key processes within the company to meet regulatory frameworks.
  • Working closely with key functional organizations to ensure proper implementation, reporting, and change management.
  • Providing assistance and input on risk assessments.
  • Interfacing with Product and Engineering teams to provide requirements and inputs for new system development, assisting with user testing, and representing Compliance in the AML Programme team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in compliance programme management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent.
  • Experience handling confidential information.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials.
  • Experience with SQL and Excel.
  • Experience in programme requirements definition, together with data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements.
